Cheap Chic Toilet Paper Wedding Gown

Some people get their inspiration from the toilet. My husband is one of them. When he has a writer's block, he will go to the toilet and when he come out, he full with ideas. He even compose his marriage proposal song when he was taking a shower.

I don't know who comes out with the idea of making a toilet paper wedding dress, but there is even a contest for it!

It's called "Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest" being hosted by the bride-on-a-budget website 'Cheap Chic Weddings'.

Participants were allowed to use as much toilet paper as they needed, as well as glue, tape and sewing thread. Dresses were judged on creativity, originality and the use of toilet paper.

Lets see the creations of the winners..

Cheap Chic Weddings co-founder Susan Bain said that a well-made toilet paper gown, in theory, could double as tissue if worn by a bride during a particularly mushy wedding ceremony.

"You could rip a sleeve right off and wipe your tears. And the dress itself would only cost about $20 to make, rather than spending thousands on a fancy gown that you'll only wear for a few hours."

*** This post dedicated to my bestfriend who is getting married soon :)
