The Fox's Den by Zim & Zou

France-based studio Zim & Zou (previously here) which consists of two graphic designers - Lucie Thmoas and Thibault Zimmermann - created unique window display for luxury brand Hermès store in Paseo de Gracia, Barcelona, titled 'The Fox's Den'.

"This Carte Blanche tells the story of a fox who moved into the window with all his personal objects, showing a bit of his life and personality. The leather fox is living in a human interior composed with furnitures all made of paper, giving a surrealistic aspect to the scene. Each piece of the window display was made by hand."

"We didn’t have a precise brief, as this was a carte blanche, so we had a lot of creative freedom, which was very much appreciated."

Zim & Zou crafted this unique window display using only paper and leather and took over a month and a half to finished.

The fox sculpture was made from Hermès' leather remnants and took two weeks to make.

The whole installation took 68 tubes of glue and 144 large sheets of paper.

"We really hope that people will appreciate the dedication to details. We're always trying to tell a story in our windows, so we hope that viewers will have as much fun looking at this installation as we felt creating it."
