Eggshell Carvings by Pu Derong

Chinese artist Pu Derong from Dongzhuangtou Village in northern China makes these incredibly intricate carvings on fragile 0.3 mm eggshells surface by just using a carving knife.



“I had always been fascinated by eggs as a child. They are so fragile. Artists use canvases; eggs are mine.”
