Japanese paper artist Kota Hiratsuka creates three-dimensional origami mosaics, a paper art which mixed origami and mosaic.
“One night, I tried folding very difficult origami. Of course, I failed, failed many time. Feel disgusted, so opened paper again and take five. Now I think that 5 minutes at that time is very wonderful moment! I realized that folded paper had many good line, and makes very beautiful geometrical pattern! Take ruler and cutter in my hand, start crafting. The work finished next morning. First, white Origami Mosaics appeared.”
