Ceramic Shards Sculptures by Zemer Peled
Israeli artist Zemer Peled created these sculptures constructed from ceramic shards.
"My work examines the beauty and brutality of the natural world and I’m inspired by nature and my surrounding landscapes. In my current body of work I’m influence by the historically important era in ceramic history, the Blue and White Porcelain Wares, in particular the 19th centaury Blue and White floral and landscape designs painted on Japanese Igezara plates."
"Looking at the small painting then enlarging and turning them into life-size sculptures, I would like the viewer to feel as if they are walking inside a blue and white porcelain plate. The pieces are made out of thousands of porcelain shards colored with blue cobalt."
"The sculptures I make are formed of ceramic shards, constructing them into large-scale/small-scale sculptures and installations. I am producing the shards myself using the slab roller; I make sheets of clay, fire them, and smash them into pieces with a hammer."

Photorealistic Cats Latte Art by Dongurinekobei
Japan Twitter user @dongurinekobei created these hyperrealistic drawings of cats that are captured in the foam of an espresso beverage.
The latte artist is a proud owner of a six-year-old gray tabby cat named Donguri, and fosters kittens known as Mugi and Uutan.

Knitted Glass by Carol Milne
Seattle-based artist Carol Milne created these amazing knitted glass sculptures using a technique that involves knitting, lost-wax casting, mold-making, and kiln casting.
Since the melting point of glass is around 1,500°F (815°C), it gets too hot for Milne to traditionally manipulate it.
"I actually knit with wax. Since the needles stretch the wax too much, I knit each stitch by hand. I then surround the wax knitting in plaster and melt out the wax. This leaves the SPACE of the wax knitting inside the plaster. The plaster goes in a kiln. I melt glass into the space and then pick off the plaster to get the glass out."
