World’s Longest Wood Carving by Zheng Chunhui

Chinese artist Zheng Chunhui created these mind-blowing wooden sculpture that measures some 40 feet (12.286) meters long and took four years to complete, made from a single tree trunk.



The tree carving is based on a famous traditional Chinese painting called 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' which was produced by Zhang Zeduan during the Song dynasty, that shows the day-to-day lives of rich and poor people in ancient Chin.



The talented artist was also honored by the Guinness Book of Records with the new world record for the longest continuous wooden sculpture in the world. It measures 12.286 meters long, 3.075 meters high and 2.401 meters wide.
