Fractal Flowers by Silvia Cordedda

Fractal art is a new and original art form that is not drawn or painted by hand, rather, created by mathematical formulas: if we increase small objects, we will see in them the reiteration of the overall structure. And it can continue infinitely.

Vietnamese artist Tran Thi Hoang Lan (Aka Y Lan), uses multicolored sand to create beautiful paintings.

Imaginary Worlds at Atlanta Botanical Garden

From now till 31st October, the largest living plant sculpture exhibition are displayed in the United States.

You can visit Atlanta Botanical Garden to see 'Imaginary Worlds', where 28 monumental living sculptures are scattered throughout the garden.

This 'Earth Goddess' is 25 feet high, covered with 40,000 plants and weighs 29 tons.

These artworks known as mosaiculture were created by International Mosaiculture of Montreal in Canada (previously here).

"Each sculpture is a living, sophisticated evolution of the traditional “stuffed topiary” technique. Thousands of meticulously groomed annuals are planted into soil-and-sphagnum moss filled netting covering the steel forms – hidden works of artisanship themselves – to carpet the skeletons in colorful patterns. Complex irrigation systems beneath the surface of the sculptures allow the plants to grow – and the creatures to flourish – in Atlanta’s summer heat. The larger than life sculptures are transported in climate-controlled trucks."
