Georgia-based artist Crystal Wagner creates these colorful hand cut paper sculptures for her new show 'Synesthesia'.
Each of her pieces is a combination of various mediums and techniques, ranging from cut paper, screen printing, to dollar store items, and encased in custom made wooden terrariums frames.
"The term 'synesthesia' describes the neurological phenomenon in which one or more of your senses is activated simultaneously to create an involuntary experience in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. Wagner’s work pulls from this concept, causing viewers to questions their perceptions of the atmosphere around them."
