Artist Hong Yi, aka Red, turns flower petals into birds.

Following her 31-day 'Creativity with Food' series that we have seen in our previous post,
the Malaysian artist has developed a collection of images in which she depicts exotic birds rendered in flower petals.

"I started this series when I realised that flower petals – especially gerbera petals – look similar to feathers especially when they are arranged on top of one another, layer by layer."
