Artist couple Edwige Massart and Xavier Wynn collaborated to create medical cross-sections of the human head made using found objects, polyform clay, acrylic paints, gold/silver/bronze gilding, and resin for their series 'Heads'.
The sculptures are meant to be surrealist explorations of portraits created from memories and found objects.
All heads are approximately 8” x 11” x .375” each.
