Shadow Artworks by Teodosio Sectio Aurea

Greek artist Tedosio Sectio Aurea creates iron sculptures that when lit from the precise angle, creates an unexpectable shadow, which is always philosophically connected with it's original source.



"Sakura" in Japanese means Cherry Tree. It's flowers are a symbol of aesthetics and a praise to the feminine beauty but also a sign of good luck, an emblem of love ...Through many centuries in the past and even nowadays, poets, musicians and painters have been and are being inspired by these magical trees...



And so, just like them, inspired and mesmerized by the absolute beauty of the blossomed cherry flowers, Teodosio Sectio Aurea gives Life to old pieces of iron and "paints" in his own unique way, a piece of art...Akina (spring flower), using as "paint" the shadows casted by the branches...the impressive blossomed flowers..and the trees' trunk...



Leonardo Da Vinci's famous sketch, which was made approximately during the 1490's. This design is often being used as an implied symbol of the essential symmetry of the human body, and more extensively, of the universe itself as whole....



In 2013, to honor this epitome of an artist, Teodosio Sectio Aurea creates an enigmatic, DNA type puzzle, consisted of 350 small, metallic balls to create a synthesis of light and shadow on your wall....
